Dosage for each type, type and duration of use
Dosage with individual and daily information:
The recommended dosage for single or double-sided colonies is 6 – 10 g of formic acid 60% per frame and day in late summer / autumn (before the brood break), in summer (after spinning) 15 – 20 g per frame and day. The minimum dose of 6 g per day (before the brood break) or 15 g per day (after spinning off) should not be fallen short. The total dose is 85 g of formic acid 60% per frame and treatment.
The volume of a frame corresponds to approximately 40 litres ( 40 dm3). In the case of prey species with different volumes, the dose of formic acid must be adjusted by 60% to the existing prey volume.
The specified average dose range should be adhered to. Short-term dose excesses of up to 100% within the first three days of treatment can be tolerated.

    Method and duration of application:
Formic acid is introduced into the bee colonies using suitable applicators (evaporation aids). The special feature of this form of application is the continuous evaporation of low doses per unit of time over a longer period. The evaporation of formic acid in the bee colony must be carried out with the
highest possible uniformity occur over a period of 10 days
